100100

one hundred twice. once a song. thirty years unlong. along this path, untread our steppes in cold and ice. a trail, travail, availed in failing light despite our hung head. bleeding, cauterised; fleeing, caught her eyes. hurried along. we sung along, got stung instead. wisdom promised and withheld. you fled the flood, what we placed in water, displaced. we left our fear and kept ourselves and flung ahead. and wept.
